The Adirondack Film Society is proud to present the 2018 Lake Placid Film Festival. This year’s event promises to be like no other in our long history. Changes to the event include moving it from June to October, expanding the program of films and events, selecting a theme and having a top-notch team working behind the scenes to insure you will have an incredible experience.
We are proud to dedicate the 2018 Fest to our friend and supporter, Reginald “Reg” Clark, owner of the Palace Theatre in Lake Placid. Reg was an important part of our past success and there shoulder to shoulder with us from the very inception. Unfortunately, we said goodbye to him this year, but he will always be in our hearts. Our gratitude and thanks to his wife, Barbara and the entire Clark family for their commitment to bringing the very best in film to the area and continuing his legacy.
It is our honor to hold a Tribute Gala in honor of Kathleen Carroll, Co-Founder & Artistic Director of the Lake Placid Film Festival (Forum), former film critic for the New York Daily News, as well as our dear friend and esteemed colleague. The event will be held on Thursday October 25th at High Peaks Resort in Lake Placid. So, make sure you get your Gala Tickets before they are gone!
